47×31 Nestable Pallet, Closed Deck, 3-Runner

Everything under the deck is the same part. Three specifications change, and one of them barely:

• Deck: solid, against the ventilated lattice on the NP-231
• Net weight: 19.84 lb, against 17.64 lb
• Dynamic load: 2,646 lb, against 2,756 lb

Static load, racking load, height, runners, safety rims, fork entry and loading quantities are identical. So the solid deck costs 2.2 lb and 110 lb of dynamic rating, which is 4 per cent exactly, 1,250 kg down to 1,200.

Buy it when the load is small, loose or would fall through a lattice, when the deck has to be wiped clean in one pass rather than washed out, or when a bagged or shrink-wrapped load wants continuous support.

• Static load 5,512 lb (2,500 kg)
• Dynamic load 2,646 lb (1,200 kg)
• Racking load 882 lb (400 kg)

Every figure is stated identically by the specification table and the datasheet, with nothing to reconcile. All three assume an evenly distributed load and fall with a concentrated or point load. The 882 lb racking figure is a limit, not a working figure.

We publish 1,820 per jumbo trailer and 1,410 per 40 ft high-cube, and both carry a condition: those counts are for the pallet with the runners not fitted. Decks travel nested, runners travel loose, and someone clips them on at the far end.

If empties come back to you that is worth a great deal. If they do not, a detachable runner earns you nothing over a fixed one.

Two figures that appear on the drawing and in none of the tables:

• Wall thickness 2.5 to 2.6 mm, taken at two points on the moulding
• Runner length 1188 mm, against the 1200 mm deck above it, so the

runners sit inboard of the deck ends

A one-shot moulded deck in high-density polyethylene and polypropylene, single-faced. Entry is four-way. Safety rims, 5 mm, to stop a load creeping on the deck.

It is also maintenance free and hygienic and clean, which a flat deck earns more easily than a lattice does.

Overall height is 5.71 in (145 mm), of which the drawing gives deck 35 mm, leg 90 mm and runner 20 mm. Serviceable from −4 °F to +104 °F (−20 to +40 °C). Supplied in grey, white, navy or blue, with other colours to order. Dimensions carry a ±5 mm production tolerance.

Handled by forklift or hand pallet jack, and it is stackable.

Logo embossed, at two positions, and RFID transponders can be integrated for pool tracking.

No insert is offered on the centre leg. Printing is sometimes listed as an option for this pallet, but the labelling table marks only embossing, so embossing is what we publish. If you need a printed mark, ask us and we will confirm rather than assume.
