Put plainly: because this build has no runners, a pallet jack can enter from all four sides. On the three-runner FG-231 a jack can only come in across the runners, from two. If your operation turns pallets rather than orienting them, that is the whole argument.
The deck is smooth and entirely closed, with no cavities, so dust has nowhere to accumulate and the pallet dries as easily as it washes. It is easy-wash and resistant to industrial detergents, and no metal reinforcement is used in the body, which matters where metal detection or X-ray screening sits in the line.
The material is food-grade polyethylene, and the datasheets carry the food-contact mark.

That is the same static and dynamic pair as the three-runner FG-231. The FG-231 also carries a 2,205 lb racking rating, which its runners earn, and the runners are what this build gives up for four-sided jack access. Both figures assume an evenly distributed load and fall with a concentrated or point load.

Safety rims of 7 mm. Serviceable from −4 °F to +86 °F (−20 to +30 °C) in HDPE and from −4 °F to +140 °F (−20 to +60 °C) in PP. Supplied in grey, white, navy or blue, with other colours to order. Dimensions carry a ±5 mm production tolerance. Resistant to humidity, airborne environmental pollutants, and chemical acids and corrosives.

Embossing is not offered as standard. The labelling table marks the embossed column with an explicit cross and both datasheets give the logo option as print, although their photo captions mention embossing too. Ask us if an embossed mark matters to you.
