Three builds, three materials
All three share the footprint, the closed deck, the 3-runner base and the same ratings: 11,023 lb static, 2,756 lb dynamic and 1,102 lb racking. What changes is the polymer, and with it the weight and the working temperature.
- EP-233 HDPE. 30.86 lb, −4 to +104 °F.
- EP-233-PP polypropylene. 28.66 lb, −4 to +140 °F.
- EP-233-ESD conductive polypropylene. 31.97 lb, −4 to +104 °F.
The polypropylene build takes 36 °F more heat than the other two, which is the difference between surviving a wash cycle or a hot-fill line and not. The ESD build is the one for electronics handling, where static discharge is the risk to the load rather than shock or crush: it is moulded from conductive plastic that carries static charge away.
