It holds more than the square 60 L and weighs less than it, 2.7 kg against 3. The tapered body carries its own shape, so it does not need the ribbing the square bin relies on.
The taper means empties nest into each other, which is worth having when a delivery of forty has to go somewhere before it is deployed.
