Air moves through the load from every side and from underneath. That matters for produce that respires or sheds field heat, for anything washed and left to drain, and anywhere a load would sweat inside a closed box.
It costs nothing structurally. Every rating is identical to the closed RC-141, and the perforation takes 4.41 lb off each build.
The trade is the obvious one: fines, powders and small loose parts will escape. If that is your load, take the closed RC-141.

The drawings put the box itself at 730 mm on every build, so the base structure is 40 mm on legs and 60 mm on runners. Dimensions carry a ±5 mm production tolerance.
