The empty-return problem
A rigid bulk container that cannot nest is freight you pay for twice, once full and once as air. This one tapers from its 1200 × 780 mm rim down to a smaller base, so empties collapse into each other with no hinge, no pin and nothing to fold. That is what puts 510 on a jumbo trailer and 450 in a 40 ft high cube, figures that only work nested.
Turn it around and it stacks instead, seated on the rim of the one below. The datasheet marks that switch with a rotation symbol set between the nesting and the stacking illustrations. Planning a loaded column? Ask us and we will confirm it.
