The RC-123 is the **ventilated** box in the rigid range: the same 700
litre container as the RC-121, with **slot-perforated walls** instead of
closed ones.

### What the perforation is for
Air moves through it. That matters for **produce that respires or sheds
field heat**, for anything washed and left to drain, and anywhere a load
would sweat inside a closed box.

It also costs you nothing structurally. **Every rating is identical to the
closed box**, including racking, and the perforation makes it **2.20 lb
lighter**.

The trade is obvious and worth stating: **fines, powders and small loose
parts will escape through the slots.** If that is your load, take the
closed RC-121 instead.

### The floor is slotted as well
The slots are not only in the walls: the cutaway render shows the **same
slot pattern running through the base**. That is what you want for
drainage and for air moving upward through a load, and it is worth
knowing before you fill it with anything fine. **Ask us if the base
specification matters to you** and we will confirm it.

### Capacity and dimensions
- **Outside 47.24 × 39.37 × 36.02 in (1200 × 1000 × 915 mm)**
- **Inside 43.70 × 35.43 × 27.56 in (1110 × 900 × 700 mm)**
- **185 US gal (700 L)**
- **98.11 lb (44.5 ± 0.5 kg)**

The drawing gives the as-moulded height as **909 mm** against the nominal
915, and splits it into an **850 mm box on 59 mm of base**. The wall
section is **45 mm** at the ends, which is the 90 mm the 1200 mm outside
loses against the 1110 mm inside. Dimensions carry a **±5 mm production
tolerance**.

### Ratings
- **Static load 11,023 lb (5,000 kg)**
- **Stacking load 11,023 lb (5,000 kg)**
- **Dynamic load 2,205 lb (1,000 kg)**
- **Racking load 2,205 lb (1,000 kg)**, on the runner build only

All assume an **evenly distributed load**. The runners are what make it
rack-capable.

### Two bases
The base **snaps on**, and the box comes either way:

- **RC-123**, two runners, **98.11 lb**. The runners are what make it
**rack-capable**, and it carries a published **racking load of 2,205 lb
  (1,000 kg)**.
- **RC-123-9L**, nine legs, **95.90 lb**. What it gains is **pallet jack
  access from all four sides**.

Everything else is identical: envelope, interior, capacity, static,
stacking and dynamic loads, and freight. Nine feet, **150 mm across**,
leaving clear openings of **375 mm along the long side and 275 mm along
the short side**. The underside is a **diamond rib lattice**.

### A note on the wall description
You may see this box listed with **Solid Walls**. That wording repeats the
solid box word for word, so it reads as boilerplate rather than a claim
about this product. The datasheet and every render say **perforated**,
and we publish perforated.

### Where it goes
Vegetables, fresh and dried fruit, nuts, small parts and bulk goods,
across **the food industry, agriculture and industrial production**. It
**adapts very well to automatic conveying systems**, and **the material
is food-grade**.

Handled with a **forklift, reach truck or hand pallet jack**.

### Cleaning and resistance
**Washable and suitable for disinfection**, and it drains and dries faster
than a closed box. Resistant to water, to airborne environmental
pollutants and to corrosive chemicals.

### Identification
Logo **printed or embossed**, both offered, in an **80 × 70 mm panel on
the centre pillar of the long wall**. **RFID transponders can be
integrated.** Supplied in **grey, white, navy or blue**, with other
colours to order.

### Freight
**104 per jumbo trailer and 84 in a 40 ft high cube**, the same as every
other box on this envelope.
