The NP-131 is a **lightweight nestable pallet**: a 48×40 footprint, a
ventilated diamond-lattice deck, and **nine tapered feet joined by three
full-length runners**. At **19.84 lb** it is the lightest 48×40 here with
runners under it. The nine-leg builds in the range are lighter still.

### Nesting, and what the runners are for
Empty, the feet drop into **nine cups moulded into the deck** of the pallet
below, so a column of empties stands far shorter than the same number
stacked flat.

The three runners are what make it work loaded. They give a continuous
bearing surface along the length, so a **hand pallet jack rolls under it**
rather than having to straddle a bare foot. Entry is **four-way**.

### One number to ask us about
The published loading quantities are **550 per jumbo trailer and 500 per
40 ft high-cube container**. Those are ordinary figures for a 48×40: the
nine-leg RP-191 in this catalogue does **650 and 550 without nesting at
all**. So they read as counts for the pallet as shipped, not for nested
empties, and the nesting saving is not in them.

If return freight on empties is what decides this purchase, **ask us for
the nested figure** and we will confirm it rather than infer it.

### Ratings, and what they are for
- **Static load 4,409 lb (2,000 kg)**
- **Dynamic load 2,205 lb (1,000 kg)**
- **Racking load 661 lb (300 kg)**

This is a **light-goods export and production pallet**, not a racking
pallet. The 661 lb racking figure says so plainly. What it is unusually
good at is **bulky but light** loads: the deck area is full 48×40 while the
pallet itself is under 20 lb, so it carries volume cheaply and is easy
enough for one person on a production line to move by hand when empty.

All three ratings assume an **evenly distributed load** and fall with a
concentrated or point load.

### Construction
A **one-shot moulding** in high-density polyethylene, single-faced, with a
ventilated deck that drains and dries. Serviceable from **−4 °F to +104 °F**
(−20 to +40 °C). Supplied in **grey, white, navy or blue**, with other
colours to order. Dimensions carry a **±5 mm production tolerance**.

Handled by forklift or hand pallet jack, and it is **stackable**.

### Identification
Logo printed or embossed, at one position, and **RFID transponders can be
integrated** for pool tracking.

- **Long side, corner blocks** 250 × 60 mm

No insert is offered on the short side or the centre, and this build
carries no safety rim option.
