The NP-132 is a 48×40 nestable pallet whose **three runners snap on and
off**. Underneath it is a nine-leg nestable with a ventilated deck; the
runners clip across those legs to give it a continuous bearing surface
when it is working, and come off when it is not.

### The freight number, and the condition attached to it
We publish **1,470 per jumbo trailer and 1,260 per 40 ft high-cube**, and
both carry a condition: those counts are for the pallet **with the
runners not fitted**. Decks travel nested, runners travel loose, and
someone clips them on at the far end. We would rather say that first than
let the number do the talking, because the figure is often quoted with
the footnote dropped.

Stated plainly, it is a high count for a 48×40, though not the highest
we publish:

- **NP-192** and **NP-193**, nine legs, complete: **1,820** and **1,500**
- **NP-132**, runners unfitted: **1,470** and **1,260**
- **NP-191**, nine legs, nothing to fit: **1,300** and **1,100**
- **NP-131**, the same range with its runners fixed: **550** and **500**

If empties come back to you, that is the line to read. If they do not, a
detachable runner earns you nothing over a fixed one, and the NP-131 or
the NP-191 may be the better buy.

### Ratings
- **Static load 5,512 lb (2,500 kg)**
- **Dynamic load 3,307 lb (1,500 kg)**
- **Racking load 882 lb (400 kg)**

That makes it the **strongest nestable pallet in this catalogue**, ahead
of the NP-131 on all three figures. It is still not a beam-racking pallet:
882 lb is a modest racking rating and it should be read as a limit rather
than a working figure. All three assume an **evenly distributed load** and
fall with a concentrated or point load.

### What it is for
**Light-goods export and production-line work.** It is unusually good at
one thing, and the ratings back it up: **bulky but light** loads. The deck is the full 48×40 while the pallet is a little over
**20 lb**, so it carries volume cheaply, and an empty one is **easy and safe
for one person to move by hand**.

### Construction
A **one-shot moulded deck** in high-density polyethylene and polypropylene,
single-faced, ventilated so it drains and dries. Entry is **four-way**.
**Safety rims, 5 mm**, to stop a load creeping on the deck, which the
NP-131 does not offer at all.

It is also **maintenance free** and **hygienic and
clean**: nothing to repair over its life, and an open deck that can be
washed down and left to dry.

Overall height is **5.71 in (145 mm)**, of which the drawing gives deck 35
mm, leg 90 mm and runner 20 mm. Serviceable from **−4 °F to +104 °F**
(−20 to +40 °C). Supplied in **grey, white, navy or blue**, with other
colours to order. Dimensions carry a **±5 mm production tolerance**.

Handled by forklift or hand pallet jack, and it is **stackable**.

### Identification
Logo **embossed**, at **two positions**, and **RFID transponders can be
integrated** for pool tracking.

- **Long side, corner blocks** 75 × 25 mm
- **Short side, corner blocks** 75 × 25 mm

No insert is offered on the centre leg. Printing is sometimes listed as an
option for this pallet, but the labelling table marks only embossing, so
embossing is what we publish. **If you need a printed mark, ask us** and
we will confirm rather than assume.
