The NP-193 is the **closed-deck** version of the NP-192: a 48×40 footprint,
nine tapered legs, no runners, and a **solid deck** broken only by the nine
nesting cups.

The range is also available with three runners.
On a closed deck that points at the **NP-133**, and as with the open-deck
pair it is a different moulding rather than this pallet with parts added:
the NP-133 closes at 145 mm as deck 35 + leg 90 + runner 20, where this one
closes at 135 as deck 35 + leg 100. Fitting runners to this pallet is not
an option we can offer.

### What the solid deck changes
Everything under the deck is the same part. Three specifications differ,
and two of the three favour this pallet:

- **Net weight**: **18.08 lb**, against 15.87 lb
- **Dynamic load**: **3,307 lb**, against 2,756 lb

Static load, height, safety rims and loading quantities are **identical**.
So closing the deck costs **2.2 lb** and buys **551 lb more dynamic
capacity**, which is an unusually good trade in this range.

Worth knowing if you are comparing across the range: closing the deck does
not cost the same thing twice. On the 48×40 three-runner pair it is
published as costing **500 kg of static**; here it costs nothing and the
dynamic rating goes **up**. We are confirming why the trade differs by

**nestable, reduces freight costs**.

Only the NP-192 matches those counts, and it is the same pallet with an
open deck. Every other 48×40 in this catalogue ships fewer.

### What it is for
Light-goods export and production-line work, and **bulky but light** loads
in particular. The closed deck adds the cases a lattice cannot take: small
or loose items that would fall through, bagged and shrink-wrapped loads
that want continuous support, and any deck that has to be **wiped clean in
one pass**. At just over 18 lb an empty one is still easy for one person
to move.

High-density polyethylene and polypropylene, **resistant to humidity,
airborne environmental pollutants, and chemical acids and corrosives**.
It is also **maintenance free** and **hygienic and
clean**. **Safety rims, 5 mm**, to stop a load creeping on the deck.

Overall height is **5.31 in (135 mm)**, which the drawing splits into a
35 mm deck over 100 mm legs. Serviceable from **−4 °F to +104 °F**
(−20 to +40 °C). Supplied in **grey, white, navy or blue**, with other
colours to order. Dimensions carry a **±5 mm production tolerance**.

Handled with a hand pallet jack, forklift or reach truck.

### Identification
Logo **embossed**, at **two positions**, and **RFID transponders can be
integrated** for pool tracking.
