The FG-191 is the **48×40 runnerless** food-grade pallet: nine legs, a
smooth entirely closed deck, and nothing spanning between the legs.

### Why no runners
Because there are none, **a pallet jack can enter from all four sides**.
On the three-runner FG-131 a jack comes in across the runners only, from
two. This is the same trade the 47×31 FG-291 makes, on the larger deck.

### Hygiene
The deck is smooth and **entirely closed, with no cavities**, so dust has
nowhere to collect and the pallet dries as readily as it washes. It is
**easy-wash and resistant to industrial detergents**, and **no metal
reinforcement is used in the body**, which matters where metal detection
or X-ray screening sits in the line.

Suited to **food production, pharmaceutical handling and isolated
environments**.

Both assume an **evenly distributed load** and fall with a concentrated or
point load. The three-runner FG-131 carries far more, 16,535 lb static and
a published racking figure; the runners are what earn that, and this build
trades them for four-sided jack access.

### A note on the temperature rating
**Three different figures** are in circulation for the HDPE build:
−25 to +60 °C, −20 to +40, and the datasheet figure of −20 to +30. We
publish **−4 °F to +86 °F (−20 to +30 °C)**, the narrowest of the three,
so nothing here promises more than the most cautious figure does. It is
also the figure every other food-grade HDPE pallet in this catalogue
carries. **If you are running near either end of that band, ask us** and
we will confirm.

The **PP** build has no such disagreement: **−4 °F to +140 °F**
(−20 to +60 °C) wherever it is stated.

### Construction and dimensions
Nominal **47.24 × 39.37 × 5.12 in (1200 × 1000 × 130 mm)**. The drawing
gives the as-moulded figures as **1196 × 997 × 130.5 mm** and splits the
height into a **38.9 mm deck over 91.6 mm legs**. Corners are rounded to
**R28**, the same as the 48×40 three-runner pallet.

**Safety rims of 7 mm.** Supplied in **grey, white, navy or blue**, with
other colours to order. Dimensions carry a **±5 mm production tolerance**.
Resistant to humidity, airborne environmental pollutants, and chemical
acids and corrosives.

Handled with a hand pallet jack, forklift or reach truck.

Logo **printed**, at **three positions**, and **RFID transponders can be
integrated** for pool tracking.
