The FG-231 is a **food-grade** pallet on a 47×31 footprint, built as a
**welded twin-deck**: a top and a bottom deck joined by a welding seam.
Only one other pallet here is welded rather
than moulded in a single shot, the reversible **HD-301**, and that one
joins two open grid faces. This one joins a closed top to a closed bottom,
which is the whole point of it.

### Why that matters for hygiene
The result is **fully closed, with no cavities and no ribs**. There is
nowhere for water to get in and nowhere for dust to collect, and the whole
pallet washes down. The deck is a continuous solid surface with **rounded
corners**, and every runner is **chamfered on both sides** so forks enter
cleanly.

The material is **food-grade**, and the datasheets carry the food-contact
mark.

### Six configurations
All six share the 1200 × 800 × 160 mm envelope and the three-runner base.
Four are material choices at identical ratings; two add reinforcement
profiles and lift the ratings substantially.

heavy-duty category and are suitable for high racking and automated
handling.

All figures assume an **evenly distributed load** and fall with a
concentrated or point load.

### Where it belongs
Food handling and other hygiene-sensitive lines, wash-down environments, and
above all **roller conveyors and automated high-rack systems**: a closed
deck with no ribs runs on rollers where an open lattice cannot.

The **ESD** build is for electronics: conductive plastic that eliminates
static, used to prevent damage from electrical discharge.

### About the CR variant
**CR** is listed as a material, alongside HDPE, PP and PP ESD, but **what
it stands for is not confirmed**. It is also the only one of the six
with no datasheet. We publish the code as given rather than guess at an
expansion, and it is the second product where this suffix appears

Nominal **47.24 × 31.50 × 6.30 in (1200 × 800 × 160 mm)**. The drawing
gives the as-moulded figures as **1195 × 797 × 159 mm**, which is normal
for a pallet and is published here because both numbers exist.

**Safety rims of 7 mm**. Entry is
**four-way**. Serviceable from **−4 °F to +86 °F** (−20 to +30 °C) in HDPE
and CR, and from **−4 °F to +140 °F** (−20 to +60 °C) in PP and PP ESD.
Supplied in **grey, white, navy or blue**, with other colours to order.
Dimensions carry a **±5 mm production tolerance**.

Handled by forklift or hand pallet jack. **Stackable**, and the decks are
welded rather than clipped.

Logo **printed or embossed**, at **three positions**, and **RFID
transponders can be integrated** for pool tracking.
